TYPE AND PURPOSE OF DATA TREATMENT

MailUp is a system physically located in Italy and offered by the company MailUp S.p.A. of Milan (www.mailup.it), which operates the system in full compliance with the law and in agreement with the sender. The system uses techniques called “web bugs” for tracking clicks and openings of email messages sent by Webformat S.r.l. and for monitoring post click activities using codes originating from web analytic systems. The information stored in the Mailup system is the date and time of downloading the images/css or clicking on one of the links. At the web log level, the IP address and the client used to download the image/css or to click on one of the tracked links are also stored on the Mailup servers. The latter information is only available to the Judicial Authority (e.g. Postal Police) in case of request, but it is not visible or searchable by the sender, nor can it be visualized within Mailup. The data is kept in case of request from the individual concerned to oppose the sending and acceptance of receiving the newsletter, but in any case for no more than two years from the date of registration of the personal data.
